A total of 6 schools participated in the netball tournament and 8 schools in the football tournament. The newly formed COC Thornwood Netball and Football teams participated in the event and enjoyed the opportunity to showcase their skills and interact with others.

The Saturday Kids Club at Thornwood continues to thrive this year, and now has 50 children from eight different schools attending regularly.  A new Club was launched in KwaNdengezi in April 2004 and has 20 members. The ECD and Aftercare celebrated Valentine’s day in style – making their own cards to take home to family and friends.

Our four Aftercare Centres reopened in January. It is good to have a safe space where the children can go after school and have fun, a meal and have assistance to do their homework.

At the end of November and early December, many year end parties and even some graduations were celebrated in all the Centres and the Groups.
